Students will analyze the rates of health service utilization of major health services, including physician visits, hospital care, and nursing home care. Students will write a 5 page paper that describes the differences between utilization of healthcare services in relationship to patients’ culture. Students will apply theory to their analysis, making a comparison between differing cultures, and how members of those cultures access the healthcare system. Students will keep in mind that culture is defined as gender, age, and ethnicity, as well as other cultural aspects, when making their analysis. APA formatting and a minimum of 7 professional references are required.

Students will analyze the rates of health service utilization of major health services, including physician visits, hospital care, and nursing home care.
