Implementation Strategy and Systematic Evaluation Plan

Nurse educators spend time and money to create extensive plans for educational products. Determining the implementation strategy and timeline is the next important step. Creating a systematic evaluation plan is critical because accreditors and other governing organizations want to know the details of programmatic evaluation: who is responsible for collecting and reviewing data, when is data collection expected to occur, what types of materials and resources will be used as evidence, and the expectation for outcomes. Research how to create timelines for implementation of educational programs and how to create a systematic plan of evaluation for a nursing educational program. Using your “feasibility report” from the previous “Conducting a Needs Assessment” assignment, create a timeline for implementation of your program, which includes submitting for policy creation, course builds, procurement of resources and materials, staffing for any development needs, and when you expect students to begin. Your timeline can be in the form of a graphic, spreadsheet, in a Microsoft® Word document, or a Gantt chart, for example. Create your systematic evaluation plan, in a separate document, basing the evaluation on the accrediting or governing body that aligns with your organization
