New Testament personality

Choose a New Testament personality from the following list:
• Herod the Great
• Caesar Augustus
• St. Peter
• St. John
• St. Paul
• Mary, the Mother of Jesus
• Mary Magdalene
A well-written biography in this course consists of the following concepts:
• a short biography of the subject of the paper;
• a description of the subject’s influence in biblical history;
• a description of the subject’s writings (if any) in the New Testament;
• a short description of current academic thought about the subject.
Students must demonstrate the abilities to conduct research, interpret the information they find, and summarize the information in a credible fashion. Papers must be typed, double-spaced, and written using MLA format. Each paper should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length.

You’ll need at least 4 sources for each paper, including but not limited to:
• Your textbook;
• The New Testament itself;
• A book from a college/university library;
• New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia (Links to an external site.).

Citation Format: You must use a recognized citation format for the research papers. It is your responsibility to learn a format if you haven’t already learned one in another course. I will deduct 20 points from your grade for each paper if the sources are not documented in an approved citation format.
